Fortune 500 Ranks AIZ at No. 306

NEW YORK CITY: Assurant (NYSE: AIZ), parent company of Assurant Solutions and Assurant Specialty Property, made its second appearance on Fortune 500 at No. 306, according to the business magazine's annual ranking of the 500 largest publicly traded U.S. companies. The Fortune 500 ranks companies by annual revenues.

This is Assurant's second appearance on the Fortune 500. In 2005, the first year it was eligible after its February 2004 IPO, Assurant was ranked No. 282. Assurant's annual revenues increased 1.2 percent to $7.497 billion in calendar year 2005.
