In an average hurricane season, Assurant Specialty Property handles around 10,000 catastrophe-related claims. Our claims team and many other parts of the company pull together through challenging conditions, working to extend the same superior service to each and every customer claim.
OUR ADJUSTERS - OUR PRIORITIES ORGANIZED
Assurant Specialty Property employs over 180 field staff adjusters to assist with claims and catastrophe efforts. We are the only lender-placed insurance company with a proprietary field staff team. This gives us the ability to quickly place adjusters at the site of a catastrophe so they can begin processing claims immediately. Since the field staff adjusters are Assurant employees and not contractors, they are well versed in our systems and procedures, giving us the competitive advantage to deliver fast and accurate on-site damage assessments. This is especially important when it matters most - in the aftermath of a catastrophe.
